My journey started in Barranquilla, Colombia, surrounded by a vibrant coastal culture full of color, rhythm, and tradition.
I was trained in business and spent years in the financial world, where discipline became part of who I am. But deep down, I always knew my path was meant to be creative.
Not just to build something…
but to express something.

In 2008, I founded 0511 Accesorios & Moda, a brand that allowed me to explore cultural identity through design.Through fashion, I began translating the essence of my roots into tangible pieces—bringing the spirit of the Caribbean into new spaces.It was my first step into building a visual language.But it wasn’t the final one.

A New Chapter in my life.
Today, I am based in Miami, creating and exhibiting at Futurama Art Galleries on Calle 8.
This city opened new doors—not just for my work, but for my vision.
Here, my art connects with a global audience while staying deeply rooted in where I come from.
Barranquilla is not behind me.
It travels with me.
What I Believe
Well, a man had only so many fights in him, to begin with. I believe art should be felt before it is understood. I believe identity is the most powerful story you can tell. And I believe that no matter where you are in the world, we all carry a “Barrio Abajo” within us.
